Photovoltaic DC circuit breaker, as the name suggests, is a DC circuit breaker manufactured for photovoltaic systems. It not only has the functions of general DC circuit breakers, but also can adapt to the special environment of photovoltaic systems. This requires the operating mechanism of the photovoltaic DC molded case circuit breaker to have fast closing and fast breaking functions. The installation of the moving and static contacts in the contact arc extinguishing system has the principle of parallel conductors, and the H-type static contacts can be repulsed. This action is conducive to the rapid breaking of large currents, and components made of high arc-resistant materials are installed around the moving and static contacts, which is conducive to rapid arc cessation.

The small DC circuit breaker, although also called the DC circuit breaker, is not as powerful as the photovoltaic DC circuit breaker in terms of function and product characteristics, but it also has its characteristics:
The small DC circuit breaker has the advantages of super-class current limiting performance and arc extinguishing ability. After a large number of comprehensive scientific experiments, it can realize full selective protection between the main (sub) screen, protection screen and relay screen in the DC system below 3000Ah.
It can accurately protect relay protection and automatic devices from overload, short circuit and other fault hazards. DC miniature circuit breakers are especially designed for accidents such as leapfrog tripping between the test and protection screen and the distribution screen in the DC system of power engineering.

When using a small DC circuit breaker as the main wiring for motor control, it is very important to pay attention to whether the short-circuit breaking capacity of the small DC circuit breaker is sufficient. Its rated current should be greater than the rated current of the motor, which can be 1.2-1.5 times.
