Jianheng Jiaxing Laboratory covers an area of 5,000 square meters and is located in the photovoltaic town of Xiuzhou District, Jiaxing City. It is the "National Key Laboratory of Energy Wind Energy and Solar Energy Simulation and Testing and Certification Technology", and has been accredited by CNAS and CMA in IEC 61215 and IEC 61730. It has complete The component-side IEC 61215: 2016, IEC 61730: 2016, IEC 62804-1: 2015, IEC62782: 2016, IEC 61853: 2011 series test capabilities, and has diversified, differentiated and customized test capabilities.

After the visit on the afternoon of the 12th, the standard working group meeting of "Enhanced Aging Test of Photovoltaic Modules" officially started in the conference room on the first floor of Jiaxing Laboratory. With the innovation of photovoltaic cell and module technology in recent years, emerging new technologies and new concepts have brought new problems to the market while bringing higher benefits: how to choose a more suitable and more suitable one according to different application scenarios Photovoltaic module products required by users? The current nameplate power cannot fully represent the power generation capacity of the module in the actual working environment, nor can it evaluate the rationality of the price difference per watt of different module products. A tool for quantitative assessment of actual power generation performance.


The purpose of this project is to launch an environmentally adaptable module "power curve" power generation performance evaluation method recognized by upstream and downstream industries. It has the characteristics of comprehensiveness, operability, and ease of use. Give an objective and quantitative evaluation, show the difference between the apparent and potential actual power generation performance of module products, provide a method for module manufacturers to show the real power generation performance of their products, and also provide a basis for developers to conduct pre-purchasing evaluation of modules.


At the meeting, the experts had a heated discussion on the project objectives, research methods and technical issues. In the follow-up, the working group will sort out relevant technical solutions according to the discussion results, and organize relevant technical seminars in a planned way.


There are nearly 40 members of the working group of "Evaluation Method of "Power Curve" of Photovoltaic Modules, including photovoltaic developers, photovoltaic manufacturing enterprises, testing institutions, scientific research institutes and other industry roles. The discussions and results of each stage of the meeting will be publicized on the working platform of the Jianheng Renewable Energy Expert Committee (http://reec.cgc.org.cn/) and relevant opinions will be collected. The outdoor operating environment of photovoltaic modules is complex and diverse, and the factors affecting the life of the modules are very complex. How to ensure that the modules can work reliably outdoors for a long time has always been the focus of the industry. At present, the type approval standards for component products, such as the IEC 61215 series, can only be used as the basic threshold for evaluating the reliability of components. It is not difficult for component products to pass the test requirements. However, some existing strict reliability test protocols have long test cycles, Problems such as high cost and inability to cover all application scenarios. How to use existing equipment and technical conditions to effectively evaluate the reliability of components with economical testing methods, identify the performance of components subjected to specific aging factors in different application environments and scenarios, and ensure the long-term reliability of components in outdoor operation has always been a concern of the industry. direction.


Based on this background, Jianheng led the establishment of a standard working group, which brought together experts from upstream and downstream companies in the industry, including developers, module companies and material suppliers, and was committed to formulating a series of "Enhanced Aging Reliability Tests for Photovoltaic Modules" Standard, solve the actual pain points of photovoltaic module selection in different climate types and application scenarios, provide a more accurate and reliable module reliability evaluation system for the upstream and downstream of the industry, so as to pass the shorter test time and lower Cost identifies component products that are more reliable.


At this standard working group meeting, Jianheng first reviewed the background and objectives of the standard and the expert opinions received at the last standard meeting, and highlighted the major revisions to the draft standard since the last meeting. At the meeting, the experts discussed the test procedures, sequences and the corresponding verification test design, and put forward many instructive opinions and suggestions, which clarified the direction and method for the follow-up work of the standard.
